Grímsey is an island deep north of the icelandic coastline. The island is accessible by ferry and plane. The ferry departs from Dalvík and the journey takes approx. 3 hrs. The ferry is comfortable and you might even spot dolphins and whales during the journey.

The flights depart from Akureyri airport and take approx. 30 min. Domestic flights are operated by Norlandair and bookable at AirIcelandConnect
